This year’s theme, “Polri for the People,” highlights the need for strong collaboration between the police, the military (TNI), local government, and the broader community. AKBP Hyrowo urged all stakeholders to actively participate in creating a safe, orderly, and harmonious environment, which he described as the cornerstone of regional development. He stated that public participation is crucial in the success of policing efforts and serves as both a moral and operational strength for police officers in the field.
He further stressed the importance of maintaining both personal and institutional integrity within the police force. All personnel, he said, must uphold the core values enshrined in the Tribrata and Catur Prasetya codes of conduct, using them as guiding principles in decision-making and field operations. According to AKBP Hyrowo, true service to the public must be carried out with sincerity, dedication, and free from any misconduct that could tarnish the police’s image. He expressed hope that the Gayo Lues Police would continue to earn public trust through their professionalism and honest service.
The commemoration also featured social outreach activities and expressions of appreciation to the police force’s strategic partners, including the press, for their objective and educational reporting. These initiatives underscored the strong ties between the police and community members and reinforced a shared commitment to healthy, constructive communication.
